Pinar is a new development created on the grounds that belonged to Pinar del Faro farm, located today in the middle of Jose Ignacio, 89 acres of dunes over a big hill that rises 15 mts. over the sea level, in Jose Ignacio’s highest point. Around 45 years ago these dunes were planted with different varieties of Sea Pines, Acacias, Eucalyptus, and Palms, which give Pinar a unique background, not found in any other area of José Ignacio. Located along the seacoast, Pinar grants you the possibility to walk to the beach or downtown Jose Ignacio.



Planned and designed by Mario Connio, architect settled in Europe, who has developed a successful career. Apart from the general plan, streets, infrastructure, and furniture, Mario has eagerly thought about the everyday life details so that the place would be magical and outstanding. We took into account privacy and noise; three dream-like squares were drawn, planted with Buthia Palms; the Lake Walk, a Spa, a tennis club, and a reception, to indulge all requests.
